We offer primary care, urgent care, and med spa services. Founded by Brandy Mountcastle, BS, MMS, PA-C, the clinic was established to meet the healthcare needs of the rural community, bridging gaps in care for the medically underserved.

At Mountcastle Medical & Med Spa, Brandy and her dedicated team provide compassionate, timely, and accessible care for patients of all ages. They are committed to restoring health, healing, and hope, ensuring that every patient feels supported and valued. The clinic offers comprehensive care for general health, wellness, unexpected illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions, with specialists in pain management, addiction medicine, and neurology.

In addition to medical services, the clinic offers a range of med spa treatments, including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, nutraceutical supplements, full service laser skin treatments and therapeutic intravenous (IV) hydration.

Brandy Mountcastle, BS, MMS, PA-C

Board Certified Physician Assistant, Owner & Director in Lillington, NC

Brandy Mountcastle, BS, MMS, PA-C, is owner and director at Mountcastle Medical & Med Spa in Lillington, North Carolina. Brandy is an experienced practitioner who believes in holistic care and natural solutions for managing health and wellness.

A Harnett County local, Brandy is passionate about serving her community, providing exceptional patient care to the medically underserved area. Brandy brings a tailored approach, treating every patient like family.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in microbiology with a minor in biochemistry at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Brandy completed her Physician Assistant Studies program, also at Methodist University.

Brandy has been a practicing physician assistant since 2009. She has high-level experience in many areas of medicine, including pain management, addiction medicine, neurology, sleep medicine, and holistic medicine. Brandy enjoys working in primary care and offering interventional pain procedures. She loves cosmetic dermatology, and is both, experienced and talented in cosmetic dermatology procedures such as neurotoxins and dermal fillers.

Outside of the office, Brandy spends time with her husband and four children. They enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and fishing, and they also keep bees and chickens. Brandy wants her patients to know she’s just like them and genuinely concerned for their well-being.

Richard Temblador,PA-C

Board Certified Physician Assistant in Lillington, NC

I started my career as a physician assistant more than 40 years ago while in the United States Navy. My wife, Paige, and I transferred here after working 18 years at the Naval hospital family practice clinic. We came to Harnett county so we could be closer to my wife’s father and mother. We have called Harnett County home for nearly 20 years, where I have continued to practice family medicine. I have been with Mountcastle Medical and MedSpa nearly since they opened over three years ago, where I have continued to practice family medicine and pain management. I continue working, rather than retiring because I truly treasure caring for my patients needs, along with teaching others to do the same. I feel that this is the reason patients have followed me from one clinic to another over the years. My wife and I love our time together , along with our four dogs. Among other things, we also enjoy crafting together.

Katie is a native of the Benson-Dunn area. She graduated from William Peace University in 2018 where she majored in biology and played on the women’s soccer team. She went on to graduate from Gardner-Webb University in 2023 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Katie likes to read, bake and spend time at the beach. She lives in Coats with her precious fur babies Evie, Edison, Lady, and Tinkie.
